Thanks That is what I thought. I still need to get the other part of it apart so I can 100% verify it so that I can take pictures so I can send to the people I got the POS from so that I can get the parts that I need which so far is All gaskets and most likely the crank assembly. Everything else looks pretty good. Then the big question will I be able to get it back together without screwing it up.

I'll make you a hell of a deal on a whole scooter! I don't deliver to Wisconsin though. LOL Good luck to you man. I learned how to replace the head in mine last year. You can do it! (especially with JR's Help. He's the master!) After I removed the CAM shaft it all came apart pretty easy. Now the key will be getting the darn flywheel off. That is going to be the next big step. I need more HANDS.

Hey Thnaks for the compliment Smorkle but I'm taking back seat on this one to our good friend Cruiser as he owns this scooter with the engine like Todd's.
Also Todd man hang in there you are doing a great job and everyone here is getting to learn from this bad experience.
Also I know this doesn't sound encouraging right now but this has got to be a rare occurance as this engine has a long track record for reliability. I'm just sorry it happened to you my friend. Dr. JR

Cruiser. Thanks. I better not have to pay for ANY of the parts. The jerks that sold me the thing had said that all the parts had a Warranty just not labor. So If I have to put anymore money into this it will probably NOT be running again THIS year.

Ok so little update. Friday night finally got the darn fly wheel off and the motor taken apart the rest of the way. So take pictures of all the parts LIKE EVOSALES wanted and was told as soon as they got pictures of what was needed they would send me the parts. Put an email together with all the Parts needed. Crank Assembly, Piston/Rings, Complete motor Gasket set and the little pin damper thing on the end of the cranks. sent that all in Friday night. Here it is Monday afternoon still no response. I am not going to hold my breath.

Well We will SEE. I may appologise for some of the things I have said about EVO if they come through with what he said he was. Moises just told me that he would be packing up a NEW motor for me Minus the Stator that they took out to send to someone, and a Full Rebuild Gasket set. I am fine with not getting the stator as I know my Stator works and that is easy to put in. If this is true it will be a lot less work that putting the motor I have all tore apart back together. :-) I will keep you all posted on the progress.

That sounds good, Todd. I hope they come through and the repair turns out good. Good luck.

Well it is now 6 day since they promised me a new motor. I Called them up today and ask if we can get this expidited I really need to get this scooter running NOW. Now he promised that he would have it out to me Tomorrow. Not going to hold my breath. Not holding my breath on it being NEW either.... Man this is so ticking me off.
Now on top of this problem with my Scooter Our Main Family Van engine light started flashing and running like crap. Seems we have a miss fire on Cyliner 5. So shop figures it is a Tune up issue if that does not take care of the problem then there is an internal motor problem. So have to spend $250 to find out if I have to replace the motor in the Van. Boy when it rains it pours.

Great. You should be up and scootin' in time for some autumn cruising. Have you been able to determine exactly what the problem was?

Im not 100% sure but I believe the Bearing on the crank shaft on the stator side was wore and that maded the rod wear and knock. (I think)

Fairweasel
You missed the thread. Evo is by far the biggest rippoff scum of the earth. They sent a Junk POS Crap motor they called new. Plust the fact that the motor they sent was not even compatible with my scooter. They sent a Used motor they claim NEW only 400 miles on it. Well 400 miles is not new in my book and I dont believe it only had 400 miles on it either. Plus they told me that they would send new motor and only taking the magneato which I was fine with no problem. The POS they sent was missing all the gear box, fly wheel and gear. Plus they mushroomed out the crank taking off the fly wheel.
