damin69, as cheap as these scooters are now, you might think about parting this one out and buying another used scooter with much less miles. By the time you buy parts, if you can get them, and buy the tools. Repairing it might not be the way to go, But I am Lazy and Disabled, that makes most of my decisions easy. Good luck.

Ok after over 2 months I finally think I have all the parts I need for getting my motor put back together. I have a new Crank Piston and the Oil orifice. No I can see if I can remember how to put it all back together.

Well I got about 4 hours in on the motor today. I believe I am about 2/3 of the way to having motor put back together. Then it will be a couple of more hours to put it back in scoot and try starting it up. Keep your fingers crossed for me. About half the time I have into it was cleaning up parts cleaning off old gasket stuff like that. Considering that I took it apart about 4 months ago it seems to be going together better than expected. So Talk to you all next year.. Sure hope Scooting next year goes better than this year.

Ok so here is the status of my Motor. I did not get anything done on it today. I went out to warm up the garage and my Nipco heater ran for about 5 min the Ran completly out of fuel. I went to where I normally got Kerosene fuel only to find out they dont sell it any more and they were 25 miles away as it was. Found out I had to go 50 miles to get some unless I wanted to pay $10/gal. takes 3 gal to fill up. So 50 mile to get it for $4.10 a gal well worth the saveings. got 6 gals so have enough to get me through The rest of the winter in the garage. So got back just in time to watch the Badgers get beat by the frogs :-( man talk about a bad day. Here are my latest photos had my BB with so pics are crappy. So this is what my scooter has looked like for the last 4 months. So this is Status of my Motor Rebuild. Making progress
