Kickstand

Unfortunately the kickstand I ordered for my wife's scooter didn't work. The hole was too small and there was no peg for the spring.
The original kickstand works, but the prong that lets you kick it down with your foot got broken off somehow.
Does anyone know where I can get a kickstand that will fit on a Jonway yy250t scooter?
If it comes down to it I will try to find someone to weld a new prong on the old kickstand.

To confirm, you're referring to the side kick-stand, and not the center stand correct?
You may want to consider just ditching the kick-stand and only using the center stand. Because these scooters have no "neutral," the kick-stand has gotten people in some trouble (including myself). I.e.: You rev up the scooter, or the scooter idles up on its own to the point where the clutch grabs, and because the kick-stand keeps the rear tire on the ground, it moves forward and falls over.
My own example was pure stupidity. I was so conditioned to working on it in the garage on the center stand, that when I was having charging issues one day at work and started it, then revved it to check voltage, off it went!! I was standing next to it checking the voltage and forgot it was on the kickstand.... Right into a curb and smack on the ground.

I tried that, but she wants something she can set before she gets off so the bike won't fall over. She hasn't been able to get it on the center stand by herself yet but I think I can teach her. Even so I'd like to find a kickstand. It's easy to take off and put on, if I can just find the right part.

Received kickstand in the mail today, will install it tomorrow.
Should look better than broken stand with channel locks attached.

Ugh, got Kickstand, but it needs a different size bolt. I will see if I can find a hardware store substitute.
