So I've had this scooter (250a) for 5 days and the battery has completely drained 4 times. I've removed the fuse from the crappy radio/mp3 in hopes that it was the cause but obviously it's not since I'm still having the same problem. My next idea is to remove the alarm but I can not find the fuse for it. Does anyone know where it is located at? And could there be another cause for this drain? I'm really starting regretting this purchase

Not a 100% on which motor you have in your 250a. If you have the 244 honda/cf moto clone then you might be haveing the same issue that some of us have had here on the board. Here are a few links on what we have found that worked to get our batteries to charge and stay charged.

Before you replace parts get a GOOD battery!
Walmart is reasonable in price and get a AGM battery.(Absorbant Glass Mat)
Get the right charger/maintainer charger, NOT a regular car battery charger.
Condition the battery according to directions and this will go a long way to resolving problems,
the Chinese battery's really are a problem.
Measure the space and height for the battery compartment and buy a larger amp battery as this is
a larger reserve of power for you.(wish I had done this, the 9 amp is ok but I will buy more next time.)
There is some good info on this site, look for the wiring diagrams according to what engine you have.

Radios and/or alarm systems normally do not drain the battery that fast when the key is off. I believe the radio should have no drain and the alarm system might have a 5 or 6 ma drain which would take many days to drain a healthy battery.

You should determine that the battery is fully charged using a battery charger to start (about 12.8 to 13.0 volts). If the battery voltage is still up after a day, then install in the scoot. If the voltage drops below 12.5, then the battery is probably no good. The voltage at the battery with the scoot running should be 13.5 to 14.5 volts at idle going as high as 15.0 volts or so at 5000 rpm. If the charging voltage is low or nonexistent, then you will have to troubleshoot the charging system. See damin69's links above.

If everything checks out so far, then a current check is next. A multimeter is a valuable tool to troubleshoot this problem. Measure current by disconnecting the ground cable (black) and connecting the meter from the ground cable to the battery negative. Make sure the meter is set to measure current and the ignition key is off. If it measures much above a few milliamps, then start isolating circuits by pulling fuses one at a time and see which circuit is drawing current.

Here is the location of the alarm system if you think that's the problem. The fuse (if any) should be near the module. Some people have been able to just pull the main connector without loosing the key start function. My alarm has always been connected with no problems.

thx for the suggestions. I'll get me a multimeter since I lost my old one and do the checks. I do have a battery tender that I got when I first got my 150cc but I never had to use it....thank goodness I kept it cause it sure is being used now...lol. Thx again for the help guys.
