I have a 2008 Roketa MC 250-54B It has the Vertical CF-Moto 244 engine. Just because you have a 54B does not mean you have the Horizontal 257 Linhi engine. You must verify which engine is installed.

The problem we are having with the fans is: They draw 3 amps or more when they are running thereby keeping our batteries from maintaining a full charge. How many amps do these fans pull? What are the part numbers and who manufactures them? Where can we buy fans that draw less than 3 amps? Thanks

I have the same problem now that it's warm/hot here in Phoenix. During the cooler months my fan would shut off as I drove around, coming on at stop lights then going off as I cruised steady for awhile. But once the temperature started staying in the 80's and above my fan runs continually once the bike has come up to operating temperature no matter how many miles I go without stopping at a light. The air temperature is now too warm to cool the bike at constant running. This bike is the Roketa 54b 250, yy250t with the clone 244 engine, radiator is way back inside the bike by the engine, gas tank blocks airflow to the engine. Hopefully this info is helpful for your situation.

Before you replace parts get a GOOD battery! Walmart is reasonable in price and get a AGM battery.(Absorbant Glass Mat) Get the right charger/maintainer charger, NOT a regular car battery charger. Condition the battery according to directions and this will go a long way to resolving problems, the Chinese battery's really are a problem. Measure the space and height for the battery compartment and buy a larger amp battery as this is a larger reserve of power for you.(wish I had done this, the 9 amp is ok but I will buy more next time.) There is some good info on this site, look for the wiring diagrams according to what engine you have. Good luck. Jim

I would love to talk to Dave. I'm new to Scooter Doc and the scooter world, my last scooter was a 1946 Cushman I bought in 1960 so these web sites, new scoots and shops are a learning process right now. How do I find Dave? His shop, web site or phone number is what I need. Jim

OK, been on the Roketa web site and not able to identify the diode on their parts list for a MC 54B 250, would anyone out there with a shop have one I could purchase? I'm in Phoenix and if I got lucky I hopefully would hear from someone here but FedEx can do the deed also. Again, thanks for the picture and info on that diode, fantastic help, just can't say enough....

Fantastic!!! My diaode is missing! I was wondering what that plug was for. This is a brand new scooter and the diaode is missing. Thank you both for the information, especially the picture, showed me exactly what I was looking for. Hope I can return the favor someday...

Help! Bought a yy250T and it won't charge at all. It has the CFMoto engine, 244cc. Battery is new so that is not the problem. Have replaced the stator and rectifier and same problem, 12.4 volts output to battery. Have used the schematics form this forum and cannot find the diode. Anyone know where it is located? So far all connectors and wires test good so I am really lost. Any input would sure help. Thanks. Jim
