Found a deal on one and thinking of picking it up.....how do you owners like your various YY250T makes? Any gripes? Trouble getting parts? Would like to be informed of any shortfalls and bargaining points before I go look at it.
Thanks in advance,
Scott

Hello Scottiemac, I have a JCL MP250A (YY250T) with the lynhai clone and I have to say, I'm not disappointed at all with it! I got mine shipped from Dallas to Arizona for a flat fee of $1500 brand new!! I haven't had any major problems with it other than a dead fuse and regular maintenance!! And if you ever need help on fixing something, someone here knows how to do it!! I bought mine in February and I currently have about 2500 miles on it! I'm hoping it will last and so far so good. Good luck

I always thought the YY250T was just the cfmoto style Jonway 250. Anyway I am very happy with mine.

I have a YY250T I got mine in April Brand New. It has had a couple of miner problems.
If you get it brand new Make sure you do the PDI that is all I can say. When i did my PDI i there was a hose that was pinched off.
My biggest problem is the Crappy service from where I bought my scooter. Stay way clear of EVOSALES.com their service sucks.
Over all I have 1300 miles on sofar and all is well. Doing some upgrades this weekend on mine HID and LEDs. Jonway charging system seems to be a bit weak at least on mine.

I have a YY250T with the CFMoto engine. As stated before, I'm experiencing a little problem with my charging system. I've gone all LED and put HID headlights in last winter. She just got new Avon tires and it was a significant difference in the ride.
The other big change was adding the CDI/Coil combo from KidNMe. Still being surprised at the performance increase I got from that.
I've nearly 4,000 miles since Feb '09 and feel I have many miles to go.
Shh, don't tell anyone, but I'm getting ready for a SS1000. Just get the charging system worked out now.
You found a great site for support. There are some really good folks here.

Help! Bought a yy250T and it won't charge at all. It has the CFMoto engine, 244cc. Battery is new so that is not the problem. Have replaced the stator and rectifier and same problem, 12.4 volts output to battery. Have used the schematics form this forum and cannot find the diode. Anyone know where it is located? So far all connectors and wires test good so I am really lost. Any input would sure help. Thanks. Jim

Ok here is the way to test it and a picture of location for you. You can do a quick test to see if the diode is bad, just unhook it, plug you're volt meter on the battery, start the scooter and then jump across it where you unplugged it. If the voltage comes up to when you rev it a bit to 14+ volts then you know it's bad. Attachments:

Fantastic!!! My diaode is missing! I was wondering what that plug was for. This is a brand new scooter and the diaode is missing. Thank you both for the information, especially the picture, showed me exactly what I was looking for. Hope I can return the favor someday...

OK, been on the Roketa web site and not able to identify the diode on their parts list for a MC 54B 250, would anyone out there with a shop have one I could purchase? I'm in Phoenix and if I got lucky I hopefully would hear from someone here but FedEx can do the deed also. Again, thanks for the picture and info on that diode, fantastic help, just can't say enough....

I would love to talk to Dave. I'm new to Scooter Doc and the scooter world, my last scooter was a 1946 Cushman I bought in 1960 so these web sites, new scoots and shops are a learning process right now. How do I find Dave? His shop, web site or phone number is what I need. Jim
