I've searched through the entire forum plus others and unless I passed it by, there is no shop manual for the Roketa MC 54B 250cc. Am I blind or does this not exist? Anyone's help will be appreciated!

When looking for info, it all depends on which engine you have, 244cc is referred to the CF-moto/Helix clone or if you have the 257cc engine is the linhai/yamaha clone. I have the MC-250B Roketa. (which has the 257cc)
If you go to the 250cc to 300cc section on the home page, you will find what your looking for.

A problem here as I also have a 250B and it has the vertical 244cc engine. The way Rocketa names them is one is called MC 54-250 (244cc) and the other is called MC 54B-250 (257cc). www.roketapartsdept.com/catalog/Scooter_Parts-52-1.htmlBrowse down the list to the name MC 54-250 and you go to that machines page. Click on the sub catagory MC 54-250 Engine and exhaust parts. Then look at the engine. It is the vertical 244cc type. Repeat and use the name MC 54B-250. This time the engine is the horizontal 257cc engine. A lot of folks confuse this location of B. If it is 54B it is 257cc and if it is 250B, who knows as Rocketa apparently doesn't recognize that nomenclature. My 250B is a 244cc and others say their 250B is 257cc. .

Wouldn't be easier just to look at the motor I mean one is Vertical and the other is Horizontial if you can't tell the difference your in a world of hurt. Alleyoop

I agree on that Allyoop. That is the way many of us talk when asking about which model they have. But when I see folks talk about the 250B as being the size descriptor rather than 54B, that is wrong and will get you into the parts bin.

I have a 2008 Roketa MC 250-54B It has the Vertical CF-Moto 244 engine. Just because you have a 54B does not mean you have the Horizontal 257 Linhi engine. You must verify which engine is installed.

I have the MC-54-250b Roketa scooter, tag says 244 engine but I have the Horizontal 257cc linhai/yamaha clone engine (So they put wrong tag on mine).

Assuming that all the tags and labels are put on at the factory.
Those numbers and tags are all in English but they have a lot of the work being done by Chinese speaking workers. If they are messing up it is natural and they don't know. But where is their quality control that should be English speaking and catching these mistakes?
But it they are put on by the importers, it is just a sloppy job, no excuses.
Best is to identify which engine you actually have and then to order the parts from Rocketa you need to know the Rocketa format to find and order the correct parts if doing it yourself. If ordering by phone you can tell the sellers that you have a vertical or horizontal engine as part of your inquiry. .

Hi Bob, since I've had my Roketa scoot, I've never order any of my parts from Roketa, I have about a hand full of places I order from that are much cheaper then Roketa and the parts are what I need for my 257cc engine.

I have never ordered from Rocketa yet either. If you are ordering something for the engine or engine area and drive, then seller must have asked if you had a vertical or horizontal engine. Much of the rest of the scoot is probably common for each scoot.

Wouldn't be easier just to look at the motor I mean one is Vertical and the other is Horizontial if you can't tell the difference your in a world of hurt. Alleyoop I agree completely Alley. We know some things for sure on the Reflex clones.
1., They will have this body:
2. The badges and numbers may be wrong on the scooter. 3. They will have either a horizontal Linhai clone engine, or verticle CF Moto clone engine.
So, how about this? - If you have the horizontal engine use the Yamaha YP250 manual for the engine. This has been the standard for the Linhai engine clone for a long time.
- Use the same manual for the rest of the CF Moto scooter but there will be discrepancies.
- Here's a rather obscure service manual for the Linhai that may help.
- The verticle CF Moto clone engine can be serviced from this reference. I don't know why this isn't used more often, it is a direct reference for this 172mm engine.
- You can use the Yamaha YP250 manual for the rest of the scooter but there will be a few discrepancies.
- The wiring diagrams for these Reflex clones can be accessed right here.
