I purchased an ignition trigger from SDS and installed it this morning on my 150.
Pretty easy to do, remove the flywheel cover and remove the 2 bolts holding the trigger in, I snipped the wire on the original and bolted the new one in its place, find the same color coded wire at the CDI cut and splice the new one in, you can just squeeze the new wire next to the other wires as you replace the flywheel cover.
It started right up, time will tell if it solved the infrequent problem of not starting when sitting for an hour after running.

Yes, I re-adjusted valves first, then changed the vacuum fuel valve, then replaced coil and plug wire, then replaced the CDI, and now the ignition trigger pickup. I have been using it today, so far so good. Thanks, Tom

Kinda reminds me of when I sold my Dad's old Olds Achieva. The lady that bought it wanted to quibble about the price and I told her it's got a few miles on it but everything that could POSSIBLY be fixed or replaced has been done, you'll be starting over. She shut up and took it. Rich

It has been a week since changing the "ignition trigger pickup", so far so good, no hot starting failures.
I hope that I didn't jinx myself by stating this prematurely, because it was a periodic problem. Cometman

At my old shop we had several test routes - one hill, one five mile level and straight, one twisty and one section of a high speed highway. For the Hall switch (crank trigger), it was up the hill, and then through the twisty, and then barrel back down the straight - switch would always cut out 50 yards before the shop. It had heated up to where it would cut out if bad...the walk back to the shop would help cool bike back down for working on it.
