I replaced the belt with exact replacement number (easy to do after watching video clip) now the ratio seems to have changed a little, must be spinning the clutch a bit faster on idle because it is grabbing already and spinning the wheel, it will still slip but is not totally disengaged. Any comments or suggestions from the gallery appreciated. Thanks, Cometman

You need to lightly sand the new belts with about 120 grit emery cloth. They are coated with varnish to keep them 'fresh' Also if it is a belt change it is also good to sand the inside of the pulleys to rough them up. This helps the belt to seat.
Since you have it back together don't worry, it will get back to normal in a few weeks, when the belt wears in etc.

All new parts require a break/run in period. The cold weather may take longer but, Sprocket is spot on as usual
