With the colder weather my scoot has developed a squeak in the front wheel. I would expect a noise to come from the disk brake side: Brake pads rubbing or whatnot but, What could produce a squeak on the other side? At low or no speed a squeaking noise comes from the speedo cable side, the right side of the axel. At speed, in cold weather, it sounds like something is rubbing. after it warms up no sound. Bearings? Bad Puck? Any ideas? TIA

Try cleaning the cable and lube the cable. Alleyoop

I'd try Alley's suggestion first, that's the most likely culprrit. It warms up and what little lube is there starts working. Also check the bolts that hold the disc assembly in place. I know it doesn't sound like it's coming from there but I've had noises I was sure came from one side yet actually came from the other. If all of that doesn't do it pull the wheel and wiggle the axle around while it's through the bearings, if it clicks and moves around you've got bad bearings. Rich

Use white lithium grease.. it has the widest temperature range and will still stay fine in minus -10F temperatures

most likely the speedo driver gear - white lithium grease should do it.
