I own a Green Earth Scooters 50cc Dash. Probably around 3-4 weeks old. Just got it back on the road again today actually! I had originally picked up a GP9 on Craig's list a while back for $400. I rode it for a week and loved it-had a blast. So I sold it for $500, made a quick $100 and ordered my new scoot. I was looking at a last year's 150cc same body style for the same price but didn't want to mess around with insurance at that time. However, I rode a 150 Hanma (i think) today and loved the get up and go off the bat. It was so much more fun than my 50.....
So short story long...How much do some of you guys pay to insure your 150s? I really think down the road I would like to go that route.
Thanks, Tim

I added my Fly Scout to the policy on the three cars we have and it was 24 bucks every six months...

I pay $40 per month for my 150. I hate being 25 or younger.

I have a fleet of vehicles so I think I pay about $7 a month on the 150 for minimum liability.

I got minimum liability on mine for $75 a year-- and I haven't had transportation (or insurance) for over 15 years.

I pay $104 a year for my 250 cc scooter, which was about the same as what I paid for my 150 cc scooter. I would think in warmer areas the price might be higher because you have a long riding season. I live in SC so I use my scooter all year round except when it gets in the teens, which is about 2 days a year.
