Here are a few photo's of the latest 50cc to 150cc motor conversions. These are with the Fat wheel kit, we also have the regular rear wheel kits.

Very nice Steven, great post, thanks. I'd still like to see some close ups of how you turned that carb backwards on that one scoot project if you got any. Rich

Steven, do you make a stretch kit for the regular 150 gy6 type bikes? That is one of the things I still want to do to mine.

We only have one for the 50cc frame, however, some of the frames are very similar and you can get it to fit. Here is a photo of the 50cc frame and see if you can send me a photo of your frame from this angle.

Rich Here is a close up of the carb install, this is the Velocita 30mm carb. For the stock carb we have a clocking flange that will help get the stock carb to fit nicely.

I do sell them, just let me know what you need and I price it out for you. You can use the stock carb and manifold just add the clocking flange and the intake tube for the Uni. Now I have never turned the carb forward on a stock scoot, only the ones we stretch, so we have plenty of space.

I am getting ready to do a 50cc to 150cc conversion with a regular rear wheel, I will be posting photo's of that build pretty soon.

Cul, great posts and ideas Steven, you really add a lot to the site. Anyway, if I understand you, the part I have the dot on is what allows you to turn the carb 180 degrees? Rich

VERY COOL!!!
I've ALWAYS loved the cosmetics of these 50cc scoots. NOW, you've made it a LOT easier to have 150 performance, and, with the fat tire setup, improve the look even more!
I have a feeling you may be getting a lot of business from Europe... Pix of this fat-tire 150 setup should end up posted on road-houses and cafes all over the continent. It's a "hooligan-scoot" rider's fantasy come true! I'll bet those hooligan jockeys are saving up their Euros already!
It would be good if you could post approximate total costs for the various setups too. Lots of dawgs will want to know how much they'll have to sneak out of the Missus' grocery budget! LOL!
This setup gets my vote for "Coolest Scooter Toy of the Year"!
I won't be surprised if some savvy manufacturer starts offering a factory scoot set up similar to this for hot-rodders out there!
Ride safe, and ride FAST on one of these!

Did you ever finish the 50-150 conversion? This is something I would love to do to my scoot.

We used to turn the carbs on the old Honda 90s and put a huge air scoop/ram on them
The only think I would like to see is a better angle or an aluminum spacer on the intake elbow so the carb sits level...
