I've tried putting my scooter in the back of a truck several times by riding it and I always chicken out at or near the top of the ramp. I've discovered that having a second ramp there and guiding the scooter up while walking on the second ramp is much better and you keep better control.
Apparently this guy is just an idiot.

He has committment issues. Ya either go for it or dont try. I dont blame his friends for not trying to save him. Thats probably a 700lb bike. I thought it might be a pickup truck but a big ole rental he shouldnt even had a problem with it. I usually find a hill and back the truck up to it and ride the bike into the back of the truck. I do the same thing when I unload. I push the bike back on the hill and hold the brake until the truck pulls outa the way. I guess ya just cant fix stupid.

For 600 bucks at Tractor Supply I bought an 8" trailer with a long loading ramp. I had been loading scoots up a reinforced wooden ramp into my 10' box truck. It worked but it was a bear to load an unload. I pull the trailer with my TTMH or my Honda CRV. A piece of cake to load or unload. Money well spent!!

He could have rented a trailer form U-Haul for $15. I'm sure that the money doesn't even equal 1 scratch on his bike.
Wolfie - I'm with you but I have a cheaper trailer and Harbor Freight ramps.

Larry, what ever does the job. I had always wanted the type trailer that I have, I use it for other things too. I did'nt plan to splurge, was going to get a set up like you have but the devil made me do it!!!!! 8^) The U haul trailer would have been the best idea especially when you consider that he was more than likely renting the big truck!!!!
