Nope, not me. I left The Dark side some time ago. You know, memory is the first thing to go and I canr remember the second.

Mcycle folks are looking for something I am not. I do not like to think about clutches, foot breaks, changing gears and how to control a bike at 110 mph.
Dude. After almost 50 years I don't think about any of those things anymore and not only that, but I never go over 70 on my bike. It takes more attention than I can muster these days.

I go 70+ on my cruiser much of the time and on the sportbike... HELL, it makes little difference between 65 or 95, all feels about the same... swift and totally poised. I did get a scooter, looking forward to riding it rapidly and otherwise. It's all a matter of what my brother terms "scale speed". If I do 70 or 80 on the Vulcan, feel like I'm going WFO! NO clue how fast I'd need to travel to get that experience on the VFR, faster than I care to try at this point though! On a 150 Scoot I'm guessing going 40-50 with traffic on surface roads would probably feel pretty speedy... I'll find out come Spring AND after doing mods/upgrades & putting it back together.

I still don't even know how to use a stick shift and bet I never learn
Now, now. It's nice to be able to explore both sides. The little woman; used a scooter as a stepping stone to that fine vehicle you see her with. Of course she has a five speed Scion xB as her main vehicle, so that helped with learning shifting. But I still say if my wife can go from a non-rider to a biker in a month, anyone can learn.

Before this Lefty thing gets totally out of control. I am a True Lefty!!! Tha means that I am completely left handed and in my right mind. KZ, ok bike FINE wife. I learned speed shifting on a 36 Ford coupe running on gravel roads in the mountains------many years ago. Wish I could shift MC gears but dont have enough flexability in my ankles any more. So far as I am concerned if it is 2 wheels it is OK!!!

Agreed. I have just as much fun on the Big Ruckus as I do on the Kawasaki. I even have a good time on the 50cc Cub clones with three horsepower and no clutch for the four speed crash boxes.
What really bugs me though is that my wife looks better in my old leather jacket than I do.

KZ, you dog you! ;D That's one lean, mean looking machine, and not a bad looking bike she's standing next to. Must be a pic from at least the fall as there is grass, she's not frozen, no snow, etc. As to the topic, ride what turns YOUR smile on. Sport bikes have never been my cup-o-tea but you can't argue the Ninja popularity (MHO). That CFMoto V3 thingy on the other hand is something I really like. Go figure? M/C
