Our pal and member Puddle Jumper found this priceless British scooter documentary from 1962. It goes over some fascinating history and shows what they claim is the first CVT. Well worth watching several times, thanks John for finding this for forum's enjoyment.

WOW!!!!!!!! Will those days ever come back again? Not in this country, sadly. We are
too comfort oriented to ride in the weather that the Brits consider normal. However,
$5.00 a gallon gas or even higher may change the American Publics mind.

The Genuin e Stella is offered as a two stroke and as a 4 stroke. The poor mans Vespa.

lol poor mans vespa huh. The stellas are not that cheap either. The 2 or 4 stroke is $3599 plus all the usual dealer prep n destination fees.

I think its a neat lil scoot but most I have read about it say its an under performer. Plus I wouldnt really call it reasonably priced either. Its gonna cost ya well over 3k after you add destination and prep charges. If your gonna pay that much ya might as well pay a lil more and get a fuel injected Zuma.
