so my scooter sat in 3 feet of snow / ice for the last 3 weeks its time for a battery . I was looking for a battery I was at wallmart and sears , they did not have what I needed .
So from china it came with GTX7L-BS so far I have found that , if I change the g to y, p, c the size is the same . I kinda had in mind something domestic delco , motorcraft , Interstate , perhaps decka .
Does anyone have a conversion chart for batteries ?
Space is very tight 5" x 4 3/8" x 2 3/4" about 1/4" all around play or less .
Any and all comments thanks guys

I don't have a firm answer as I didn't look seriously, but our local ace hardware had a few that looked similar and napa had one that looked right. I didn't get as far as actually measuring, just going off guesses.
Strip it down and you are looking for a 12v, 7ah battery rated around 90cca , more ah / cca wouldn't hurt within reeason but more ah would likely mean more space. Check napa, I will try post codes to what I found later. The sealed ones seemed to be cheaper than the unsealed.

When comparing batteries use either CCA or Amp Hours (AH).
They are different...stick with one or the other.

what I have is a 6ah and 90cca , for $150 14ah and 210cca and it is smaller . I can't get pasted the $150 bucks.
$150 for a battery in a $550 scooter is hard

I use a big clunking battery for a riding mower and stuck it under the seat. It is sealed lead/acid and is rated at 25AH as I recall...
I bought it on sale for $29
There are all kinds of batteries for ATVs, Skidoos etc that you can use. Walmart often have them on sale...

HAHAHA!! I just put that up to show that you can get batteries with different ratings and sizes. I also would not spend $150.00 for a Scoot battery, crap my car batteries don't cost nearly that much. Alleyoop
