Welcome to Scooter Doc, leatherandflames. Many scoots come standard with an alarm system. Alarm systems have a very small drain on the battery which is usually not a problem with normal operation. Many scoots also come with stereo systems installed. Installing a stereo which is designed to work with scoots should also be no problem. Trying to adapt car systems into a scoot can be a problem as they use a lot more power. Our trike expert, Alleyoop, also has insight into this, I'm sure.

Hi LeatherandFlames, Welcome to the forum, glad to have another Triker on here. I personnally have not installed a Juke Box or Alarm but this other Triker has installed an Alarm and the Trikes already come with a PLUG in for the Alarm system. Here is his thread. www.scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=trike&action=display&thread=2864As for the Juke Box, Rapidjim one of our advertisers has installed a Radio on a Trike that a customer wanted so you can PM him and he will be more than happy to guide you on the installation. Again welcome and hope you get the trike soon. Alleyoop

leatherandflames No problem installing an alarm. The link Alleyoop gave you will give you some information. If you are going to leave the trike parked for an extended time you might want to install an on/off switch to disable the alarm so it does not drain the battery. A toggle switch will work. As far as the radio goes check out the Amazon.ccom and e-bay.com under motorcycle radios. I got the Shark Motorcycle radio MSA/200. The basic install was no problem. Soon as the snow melts and the freezing rain stops I will get some pictures and post them. Glad to have another triker on the forum. Any questions pm me. Have a safe ride. Triker98304

We did install a Car Stereo in a Magnum without issue. Mounted it under the seat with a toggle switch to shut off the radio memory when the trike was to be sitting for a period of time so not to drain the battery. Used a pair of 2 inch handle bar mounted speakers and a ribbon antenna for a Harley Fairing and mounted it in the seat bucket too.

Can't help with the stereo, but if you really want that windshield, try Cee Bailey: www.ceebaileys.com/cycle/motorcycle_windshields.htmlThey make replacements that are of a thicker, better plastic, as weel as your choice of tints and heights. Most are drop-in replacements- and well forth the extra cost! I broke the windshield for my Cozumel 150, it seems to ride better without it. But when I do replace it, it will be a Cee Bailey.
