I live in Grove City. We have a ton of scooters around here but no club. We just don't know each other. We wave as we pass. Well I want to change that.

Meetup.com is popular. Its a place where people with like interests can meet up. Its not really a club but some clubs do use it to manage thier gatherings. Go there and do a search. YOu might be suprized who already is meeting up in your area.

I checked/ nothing listed about scooters. So I checked motorcyle clubs and I found a nice one in Columbus. I hope they don't mind scooters. mine is a 250 so maybe they won't mind.

Oh I am so psyched. I found a very nice motorcycle club in Columbus and they had a link to a womens club in columbus call wow (women on wheels). Several of the members are RN's or retired RN's and some of the women are my age. I am so psyched. Now I can't wait til my bike gets delivered and I can't wait to go on outings with both clubs. yea.

zugzug, thank you for telling me about meetup.com. I had done searches thru search engines and had come up with nothing except for some 10 percenters (which I don't want). You probably know what 10 percenters are. if you don't I will explain it. ANy way, because you told me about meetup.com, I found both these groups. Thank you so much.

I've heard the saying of 10%ers before but its been a long time and dont remember what it means.

It's either 10 percenters or 1 percenters, I can't remember. BUt anyway, they are motorcycle groups that are wild rebels and break the law. THey are called 1 (or 10) percenters because they are a small percentage of riders that give all motorcyclists a bad name. They are the "social outcasts" of motorcycling and are proud of it.

wow is a national club with local groups. It definitely stands for Women on Wheels.
