oy ! Could someone please point me in the right direction. I need a new flanged nut to retain my variator assembly . What is its specs (size and threading) and where can I find the d#$% thing? Is it the same nut that also retains the flywheel ? I checked the 3 engine service manuals I have and none had what I was looking for. Thanks ! Bill C.

M12 - Shoulder Nut ...I use the type that has a nylon locking ring....make certain you torque it to 40ft/lbs.
PLEASE don't use an impact wrench.
They are lousy at torquing accurately and on the variator you can over torque it easily and drive the kickstart gear up the tapered shaft into the case and crack it.
