Here's an interesting pic from Cookees trip to the Indy dealer Expo, a Puma Roadstar 150.

Znen China makes another almost identical model, but the rear box isn't as big: Clickable image M Kangaroo Scooter The Roadstar rear box is HUGE ! Which got me thinking....now if we could just find a mfr for the box we could universally adapt it to just about any scooter. Okay, who's up for a little entrepreneurial adventure? Got to be easier to make the box then get a whole new scooter through EPA, DOT, Customs, CARB, NHTSA

I will stick with what I have, two TGB deliveries, one a 50cc the other a 150 ccc. Mine have 39 gallon boxes simular to these Chinese knock offs. I really like mine for PO runs and light groc. shopping. The one illustated appears to be an even bigger box. One thing I will warn you about and that is the boxes this size do make the scoots top heavy. Balance is a bit tricky especially in curves. This design is best used for city deliveries of Pizza and simular chores.

I thought a gallon of gas was part of the meth lab!?!? This top box could be part of introducing more scoots to the U.S. Just think, if every Pizza/ Sandwich shop had one to make deliveries. More scoots on the road and gas savings for delivery drivers and, more profit for local businesses. I like this Top Box. If sold separately from the scoots this could be a great investment.

The Peirspeed Delivery is available here (It's the TGB bike, "Taiwan Golden Bee") being imported by the same folks who bring us the Sach's "MadAss" bikes! Maplewood Scooter Company here carries them- nice bike, gives me lots of ideas!

I love my 150cc Puma Roadstar! Recently took an early retirement to concentrate on charitable volunteering for my ministry & this scoot has really been a blessing! From VA & other hospital, shut-in & even DOC visitations to personal trips like shopping, camping, visiting my many kids & grands & just plain riding around, this scoot provides everything I need in transportation except shelter during a rain storm!
I have run into a problem, though: my scoot ran like a dream...no funny noises, great pick-up, perfect balance with heavy loads...until one day it wouldn't start. Hubby took it to a "friend of a friend" who replaced the starter & such, but once I had it back from the shop it started fine but ran awful. It vibrates at idle something awful, there are pinging rattles the minute I take off (don't end til I shut off) and, whereas it ran comfortably at 40-50mph before it "got fixed", it's now struggling to attain even 25-30. I KNEW I should've insisted on taking it to the dealer.
I want to do my part first, before I take it on to the dealer for repairs myself (dreading those labour costs!), such as changing the oil (ta daaa! all by myself!) & want to do the gear oil as well but can't figure out where the 2 bolts are located...not the same as hubby's TaoTao 50cc.
Can you direct me on that?
