I have a 50 CC longbo 50QT-22 scooter with a gy6 engine.
I have new= CDI, magneto coil, spark plug, battery, carburator, choke and petcock.

my scooter has trouble starting, but eventually it will start
usually I have to cover the air intake with my hand "to choke it" in order for it to start. But after it starts, it dies again.

Afterwards, I find gas all over my hand, it trickles gas back out. ( from the air intake)

I have the valves adjusted to .004

The float in the carb is either stuck open or the float valve has lost its rubber tip...

Ok I was suspecting the carb myself and I actually did take it off today(I put my old one back on to see if that would help and didnt)

Anyway, Ill check that as soon as possible. Thanks for the help
