Bad enough to have crappy Chinese wiring then to have someone use these in there also. I hate these crappy type connectors. Attachments:

Bad enough to have crappy Chinese wiring then to have someone use these in there also. I hate these crappy type connectors. Scotchloks, Yeah those are kinda' crappy looking, but they usually hold pretty well. There's a black type like that which has a receptacle for a conventional bullet jack on the single side, only slightly less crappy. Both are relics from early in my learning curve re: vehicle wiring, better methods being employed nowadays. Haven't ordered anything from these guys yet, but check out their awesome selection of OEM style stuff... www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com/connectors.html... including these factory type 1 into 2 splitters, which up to now I've been making my own version using large female spade connectors and clear tubing:

I'll have to admit it, I actually like those connectors lol. It's not the perfect solution I'm sure, but there have been plenty of times where these have allowed me to quickly and instantly tap into a power line to hook something up, without any splicing or cutting of wires.

Yep, Chinese connectors are so bad, when I had an issue with dash light the wires jst came out connector stayed in. The connectors are so thin re crimping is futle, solder was the ans, but it is what it is and I learned to deal with it.
