Has any ever used the Preval system? www.preval.com/I don't know if I'd paint a car using it, but I'm thinking it might be worth a shot on my scoot. I don't have an air compressor and this would almost certainly be cheaper than renting one. Plus, I've got a connection to get the paint cheap (maybe free), so I'm not going to blow a bunch of money on expensive auto paint if it doesn't really work out. What do you think?

How much are going to paint? I would think that Dupli Color auto matching paints would do fine. Get a can or two and go to it. Just have to be conservative as I have had touch ups run and make a mess. I have gone so far as to paint an entire auto fender with such supplies and they came out OK. Biggest problem is all the masking and paint dust drifting around. .

I'm going to completely strip the bike and repaint the whole thing. Despite what UM said, the bike is purple, not blue. I kinda liked the color at first, but since I've got a fair amount of body repair to do, its time for some new color. I've been considering using Dupli-Color, but I'm looking at alternatives, too. I'd love to drop the cash on an air compressor and paint gun, but that's not in the cards right now.
