Did a quick search, but didn't see anything. Scoot died 3 blocks from home last night so pushed it the rest of the way. First thought out of gas. Nope, 3/4 full, have great spark, no fuel to carb, nothing in fuel filter so arse U Me'ing the vac unit out at the tank? First oh chit!*($&)( at 18000 chinometers. Am I pointing in the right direction?

It's probably those damn farts! You know, I used to see those kind of word snippets show up on Google and it would bother me.....not anymore, . Yes, you're on the right track, rule in or out your vacuum valve.
Another thing you can do, (careful with gas spilling out!), is to hook the fuel line right on to the filter if you have this kind of system:
If it's a faulty vac valve it should start up.

If, haven't yet, you should adjust the valve gaps...
