This morning I had to use my scooter while I was replacing the brakes on my car and needed extra parts. It had trouble starting but it ran and ran fine while I did my errands.
They had to order a part and so I came home to wait. Now that my part is ready, my scooter won't start. Another problem is the kick starter no longer springs back up.
I gave it a few kicks and raised the starter back into place with my foot, but it still won't start.
Any ideas?

First you need to remove the CVT cover and see what is happening with the kick starter...It could be engaged and stopping the engine from rotating...

Update: I jump started the scooter from my mustang and it ran fine, i just didn't shut it off while I was out and a bout. I will try to get the cover off this week sometime along with a new battery. Hopefully I can figure out why the kickstarter has stopped functioning.
