Sorry for the delayed update, but I put in the #115 and everything is as it should be! I feel dumb for wasting my time on the #125 though... and it wasn't just from a banner that I misunderstood the idea of up-sizing the jet, it was from various forums and information boards...

I have a 150cc GY6 with the basic 24mm CVK carb and I upgraded the stock main jet to #125 because I have free flowing exhaust and short-ram intake.
I don't know what the stock jet size was and I have subsequently lost the stock jet... so tiny, goodbye forever...
I did some upgrades/fixes today and now with the #125 jet, the scooter sputters and falls on its face when I try to give it some throttle. I can eventually make it up to about 40mph but any more throttle than that and it sputters. Is #125 too rich? I wouldn't think so.... have I missed a step in the installation? (Seemed pretty straightforward to me...) is there something I should need to adjust?
I've ordered a #115 jet just in case the #125 was too rich, but I'm pretty perplexed- Everything I have researched said that if you had intake and exhaust, you should look at #120-130 main jet size which is why I went with #125. (Though now that I'm thinking about it, that may have been referring to aftermarket 30mm carbs and not the standard 24mm)
The other things I did today were new fuel filter and fuel lines along with a new fuel level sender. As far as I can tell, I hooked everything back up the way it needed to be. Scooter idles like a champ.
Anyone have similar experiences?

Perfect, thanks!
It's been so hard to find parts that I need for a scooter that no longer exists... So much of what I find is discontinued or out of stock or is so expensive it isn't worth the trouble.

I have a 2005 Diamo Tracer 150 which is the equivalent of Vento Phantom R4i with the GY6 Type 1 headlight design. I need replacement body parts as mine have cracked and are no longer attached to anything. My scooter is being held together with tape and I can't find any vendors that have these body parts at a good price or that are actually "available" and not out of stock. Please help! This is an older photo of my scooter for reference on body style. i50.photobucket.com/albums/f326/mac_mogul/b2fdb705.jpg

Okay well, its on its way back to scrappy.
Idk if its just for short case or what but it does NOT fit 157QMJ engines with a long case (Even though that is where the part is listed)

Crap.
Well, the one I ordered should be here tomorrow so I guess I'll find out then...
I've looked EVERYWHERE for these and Scrappy had the best price... but NOWHERE could I find installation instructions or fitment specifications.

Thanks for the replies.
I would also like to see some photos or instructions on how to mount this air box.
My original air box is now ruined so I must replace it.

I found this and I'm wondering if anyone knows much about them. I've seen side mount boxes for 49cc engines but never for a 150cc. Would this help in remedying my problem of getting oil into my stock air box and ruining my filters? I don't know anything about it so I am looking for any way to solve the issue. Alleyoop suggested I put a breather filter on my oil vent line to prevent it from getting into the air box, but if this does the same thing or similar, I'd rather have an OE style fix than something rigged up myself. Thanks for any and everything you can add!

I had replaced the air filter last month when my scooter hit 1000 miles so it wasn't like the filter was old or anything.
Alleyoop- I will try your method this week and hope for the best. Thank you all!

I did not put a quart in. I have changed the oil many times and never had an issue.
Like I said, it starts and idles fine. It was only when you tried to accelerate that it ran poorly.
After taking the air filter out, it accelerates smooth and has plenty of power.
My filter is soaked in oil however and I need to know how to avoid this in the future. I will have to order a new filter and I do not want to keep this up where I use my scooter without a filter every time I am waiting for a new one to be delivered.

The spark plug appears to be functioning properly and the header pipe is secure.
There's A LOT of oil in the air filter.... I took it out and it seems to rev up smoothly, so I'm thinking maybe it just wasn't getting enough air to the engine.
Any thoughts on how I can keep the air filter from getting soaked???
If this was my car I could have it fixed by now hahaha I'm scooter challenged!

I installed my exhaust last week and the scooter ran perfectly all day on friday. Saturday morning I started it up, idled fine, changed the oil, started it back up, it idled fine... Then when I went to take it for a spin around the parking lot it is missing very badly under acceleration. I am going to check the spark plug now and report back, but that's my only idea. If anyone knows of something else I could check, please let me know!! I need my scooter!

I got everything fitted and hooked up. It sounds great too! I just need to find hardware to mount the strap to hold the muffler in place. After taking a closer look, I can just get a spacer and a bolt and use an existing mounting point. Should be pretty simple! Thanks for the help guys! (That's my other toy in the background )

No I don't have a bracket haha I'm trying to figure out which one I will need to mount everything properly.
It is cool outside this morning so I will try to get it figured out very soon.

So will I need to install the muffler and new header pipe first to see where I will need a spacer or bracket??
I don't know yet what angle the muffler will be...
Mine is the round type like yours and has the same type clamp. Your bracket is the second type of bracket that I have found online. The other is just a single piece with four holes in it.
