What combo would be best for my roketa. I have a 150cc 157qmj longcase thats getting a 61mm cylinder upgrade within a couple of weeks. I want the best combo for top end since I ride country roads occassionaly with 50+ mph speedzones. I want max topend without using full throttle .Any help would be much appreciated. Bill C.

Well it depends what gear ratio you have now... not all makers use the same... Here is a selection for up-gearing... 14 X 36,37,38 15 x 36,37,38 16 X 36,37,38 www.mbe-motorsports.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/102Make certain that the gear set is for a scooter not an ATV...

I have the PST150H Ice Bear Trike and and it has the Short Case 157QMJ motor. Cannot give you any specifics because the Trike is up in Wisconsin at RapidRepair. I hauled the Trike up there to get it bored out and put in a 62mm BBK, 60mm Stroker Crank to bring the displacement from 149.6 to almost 182ccs. I also brought a box of goodies, 16/37 tranny gears mine has 13/40 gear, a performance Clutch with a 1000 contra spring, a Cone K&N filter, Minuki Fuel Pump, NCY CDI, Performance Coil, New Iridium Plug, New Disc Brake Pads for the front and back and a new Carb and Jets.
The Motor is all put back together and back on the Trike and running. Jim said it sounds really strong. Hopefully be able to pick it up this coming week. Jim at RapidRepair will be testing it out and setting it up. He will do a write up with pictures on the Project soon. I have pictures that he sent me but I will let him do the write up and put up pictures of the project. After I get a hold of it I will also let you know how it runs. I AM GETTING EXCITED NOW and miss riding ;D Alleyoop
