Hi Troops,
If you did not know I bought a 62mm Big Bore Kit and a 60mm Stroker Crank to upgrade my 149.6 2009 Ice Bear PST150H Trike.
With the BBK and Crank it will bring it up to around 182ccs. I also
bought 16/37 Taller Tranny Gears to replace the 13/40 Gears.
I could not find anyone in Illinois to Bore out the Case to fit the BBK. Jim from RapidRepair said he could have it bored out and set it up. So that is what I did, I rented a Motorcycle Trailer and my Brother-in Law and I trailered it up to MILLTOWN WISCONSIN which is 400 miles from us here in the Burbs of Chicago.
On the way there we filled up in a town called TOMAH and it is a pretty big town right off Highway 94. Tomah is about 175 miles from Milltown our destination. We got to Milltown population 888(thats what the sign said but I think only JIM live there..lol) . Well needless to say we did not see RAPIDREPAIR and before you knew it we were outside of town Damn place is a STOP SIGN ;D
So we pulled into a souvenior place off highway 35 and I went in to ask if they knew where RAPIDREPAIR was located.
There was a lady behind the counter and an old lady buying something by the counter as well. The lady behind the counter said yes its on main street, and started with directions that did not make any sense. Then the old lady got in on the directions bit and they confused the crap out of me . I finally said Lets Start Over the town is not big at all it cannot be that complicated.
Then the Lady said I know a better way, get back on 35 and Make a Left by the Church that is Main street RapidRepair is a block down on your right(DUH).
We dropped off the Trike Shot the crap with Jim for about an hour then we filled up in town and I said lets drive back to TOMAH since it was only 3:15 and stay overnight there and tomorrow we will only have another 3-4 hours drive left . So that is what we did we got off at TOMAH found a hotel rented a couple of rooms then I asked where do the Truckers eat, they told me and we went and had supper and a couple of brews. Came back to the hotel had a 5:30 Wakeup call, got up went for breakfast and got back home at 10:15am.
Today jim called and said that the TRIKE IS READY FREDDY , and I can come and pick it up. Right after he called I jumped in my car pulled it out of the garage and went down to U-Haul to Reserve the Motorcycle Trailer which we will be picking up tomorrow and we will be leaving Thursday Morning at 6:00am. And we will do the same thing as we did when we took the trip to drop it off.
I am excited and cannot wait to feel the difference. I will of course break it in first before I crank on the sucker Do Not Want a CABOOM from the engine
I have lots of pictures that jim took of the Project but he said he would post all about the PROJECT on here so I will let him do it.
I will update with some first impression results of how it cranks.
