Hey drjeff. I wanted to "badge" my scooter with a custom emblem in the front and the model name on the right and left sides. Front would be a 4x4 ish size. Sides maybe 10-12 inches x 2 in high? Think this is something you can do? I can whip up something in photoshop file. Not sure if you can use that or not.
Plan is if I like the design, make a mold and cast them in resin and paint so they look legit...and original.
Thanks.

Thanks. Soon as the scooter arrives and I take some measurements I whip them up and let you know when they are done.

This should be my final mockup. How would reflective white look in the daytime? Do you think this design would be good in reflective white? Print by mjkeogh303, on Flickr

The reflective looks great all of the time.
All reflective vinyls have a high tack adhesive and are harder to apply on compound curves, but totally explode when light hits them either in the sun or at night. An awesome effect, but very easy to mess up the installation. Reflective vinyl is rather pricey. But you wouldn't need much as a scooter isn't that big.
On the other hand standard vinyl is easier to apply, a lot more forgiving, and can be stretched into place as/if needed.
A wet solution helps with both.
Save the file as an Illustrator 8 .eps, be sure to include both sides, because if I mirror the image to cut the other side, your 250cc would be mirrored as well.

Can you do something like this? Realistically, these would need to be printed and then contour cut, and I don't have one of those machines. Otherwise it would be a lot of work to get it right. Could these be printed and I would cut them out by hand?

Could these be printed and I would cut them out by hand? I don't have a large format printer anymore. That would need to be printed with a solvent printer. I don't have one of those either. I sold most of my sign making equipment, just kept the vinyl cutters and a heat press for garments. Sorry.

drjeff, are you still offering graphics? I'm planning to repaint my scoot and I think I'd like to get a few new graphics to put on it.

Could you do this....I am a combat disabled vet for life, my boys bought me a 150cc trike for fathers day so I could ride again.
