I ran into this on Fleabay while looking for something else. It's an oil cooler for a Yamaha Zuma. It's kinda hard to tell from the pic bit it looks like it's part of the intake manifold and uses the vacuum for a pump. I'm assuming that's a return line going into the blue metallic canister which I suspect is an oil filter. It's very innovative and would be reliable as hell. I uploded that picture because Ebay links end up being dead so much. However, if your interested in it shoot me a PM and I'l get you the guys storefront.

ok but its for a zuma... are you looking to adapt this to fit something else? not sure how this would apply to anything but a zuma

Have to agree with benellibob. The only usable part would be the radiator and lines. The blue device looks like a coupling device or pump which is attached to the head and will only work with a Zuma head. Any Yammy mechanics out there?

i removed the governor from a zuma the other day, does that count? That's more than I have done on a Zuma. You are now our resident Zuma specialist.

I don't want to burst any bubbles but I think the blue thing is just an aftermarket valve cover for the return line hook-up. Being 4v the zuma has 2 of them, and one just happens to be over the intake on the head.///////// Off topic, sorta. If you already have a 6mm tapped place for a pressure sensor I think you could use that for an oil cooler without killing the pressure by using a smaller line, say 3/32" or even 1/16". The cooler doesn't need massive volume. The longer the oil stays in the cooler before it's returned to the engine the cooler it will be when it is returned. Just a thought.
