Its my first time doing a valve adjust. I want to check it and adjust it if need be. I looked up a video on youtube for how to do it. Im on my 2nd scooter and it has 102 miles on it. When I start it w the electric start button I have to push it 2-3 times for it to start and stay started unless I give it gas when I start it (which I dont think u are supposed to have to do) Anyway.. This video says .05mm for the feeler gauge for the valves. Ive heard .04 and .06 elsewhere and on another scooter board for Chinese scooters (like mine - 50cc) it says .004 etc.. How do know what size to use? The manual is of no use to me as its in gibberish. Thanks.

Most guys on a 50cc like to do .002" intake which would convert to .05mm. usually the exhaust is left a little looser at .003" since it gets a little hotter. That's inches now, not mm, don't get them confused. Rich

I think I saw a set at auto zone the other day. Sears also has a good set.

It took me forever to find one that had the right sizes but I found one, thanks Bashan, u made things more understandable w/ the sizes there
