I'm sure most of you other than the newest members know PJ, our good friend and one of Scooter Doc's newest staff members. What many of you may not know of is PJ's longtime struggle with kidney disease. PJ's astounding positivity and resilience in the face of this illness has been a shining light on my dark days. He recently wrote me and actually apologized for not being able to post on his board "PJ's Corner" because his condition had taken a sudden downturn and he was on a transplant waiting list. I know you'll join me on this thread by wishing PJ a quick and steady recovery. I told him to check in when he felt like it, post when he felt up to it, and all of his friends at Scooter Doc will be waiting for him when he returns. Don't shed a tear for PJ, he wouldn't want that. He'd rather you get on your scooter and think about him as you ride off smiling, I know that's what I will do. Get well my friend, Rich.

Here is a cut and paste from a PM I got from PJ today:

I am now on the active transplant list at the hospital and may go at anytime! Please spread the word since you're better at it than me. I'll keep everyone posted if there is anything new!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for all the prayers everyone has given me cause so far they are working.
