Couple of my distributors are offering MP250B's at insane pricing...ie less than a grand.
They are supposedly VIN plated '07's but were produced in '08.
A drop-shippers wet dream.
I think the Fat Lady is tuning up...

I'm a little slow on the uptake here Cookees. You mean the JCL version of the Reflex replica with Linhai motor? Is that price to you? What would it be for the general public?

I'm a little slow on the uptake here Cookees. What's your point?
I Googled it and I think it's the horizontal version. I got this off of the JCL site:
I'm sick of Cookees' baby talk on this matter...

Haven't heard that commercial in a while. Is that a correct picture? What would the price be if I picked it up in Pittsburgh? Interested.

I'm saying they are being offered to dealers at less than a grand. Figure about $100 for shipping and they'd be layed in to the dealer at around $1050 or so. I'm not going to stock any cuz I doubt they'd pass PA's strict VIN laws ( remember, they're '07's...prior to PennDots 9/25/08 vin cut-off date.)
I hadn't really thought about drop shipping....
I'll give it some thought and talk to my partner.

Got to say Very Nice looking scoot, any kind of Warranty on them or you get what you get. Also don't forget for those of you who are contemplating on getting one on the cheap, the scooters are 4 years and going on 5 and have been sitting in a crate for over 4 years. The coolant will be jello, maybe even the brake fluid and no telling about the oils. Also the battery will be no good will have to throw it away and the tires will be hard as concrete, need replacing right up front just a few things that would require a DAMN GOOD PDI. The engine could also have a problem maybe froze since most likely all the oil has gone down into the crankcase. Alleyoop

The less I have to physically do with them, the better. I'm going to see if dropshipping is an option. My thoughts are to take "pre-orders" and see if I can negotiate better shipping rates. These bikes would have to be sold with the following understanding: THEY WOULD BE WHERE IS, HOW IS, WHY IS, AND ANY OTHER IS I CAN THINK OF. THE WARRANTY FROM US WOULD BE FIVE YEARS/FIVE FEET. (AKA NONE) THAT MEANS NO WHINING ALLOWED. The warranty from JCL would be whatever they offer. They have MP250a's and MP250e's available. Pricing would be $1199 plus true cost of freight. You would get a MCO and a bill of sale, no sales tax collected.

Another option would be to take pre-orders, order as many as are needed, then have them all shipped to Pittsburgh. You would then be able to pick them up, in the crate. I'm thinking freight on 5 or so would probably be 60-70 ea.

...might as well add the 2008 MP150A's as well. Price would be $850 plus freight. Don't get me started on the ATV's...

Sounds like a plan Cookies, just so that whoever buys knows that they may need some TLC and YOU DO NOT DO TLCs(HEHE). Alleyoop
