Welcome to the club. My IB150-8 Ruckus trike did the same thing till I put in DynaBeads to balance it. This calmed it down a lot, at least now I can take my left hand off the bar and not be shaken off!!! Mountain Moped has the same problem with his and I suspect a lot of the 09 models suffer from this and from the trannies. The concept is great, the quality and workmanship is sorely lacking. Hopefully they have cleaned up their act for the 10's.

One other thing to check is the rear hubs to make sure they are "true" when turning, same goes for the rear wheels and tires. We had the same problem on a magnum 300 which turned out to be a bent rear hub. Anything amiss in the rear will be felt in the steering.

Thats what I told jim back a few posts back when he mentioned the front wheel wobble. If the back is wobbling or out of line your front wheel will wobble. The other thing to watch out for is the Axles on these things tend to move out a little until they hit the "C" Clip behind the Dust Cover but they only move out about 1/16 and I found that that little bit will cause your HUB to wobble. You can easly check that just jack one wheel up at a time and grab the tire and try to rock it. So check your Castle Nut and make sure you can not rock it back and forth. If it rocks back and forth with your hands Try tighten it up to the NEXT slot and line it up with the hole to put the Cotter pin in. If you cannot turn the Castle Nut enough to align the Next Slot on the Castle Nut with the Hole in the Axle THEN add a washer behind the Castle Nut.
I have been through just about everything possible that could go wrong on the Trikes only because I have one of the first ones off the Assembley line. The latter ones have been improved somewhat but mine I think I found all the shortcomings and do a little wrenching and all is well. Alleyoop

Interesting point, AlleyOop. Mine and MountainMopeds both had a front end shimmy from the PDI on. I had done the rear axle trick that you had mentioned earlier and did correct a loose hub nut. The front wobbles stopped on mine after I used DynaBeads on the front tire, leading me to believe that the tire itself was out of balance to begin with. The more miles I put on it the better it got but was still wobbling too much to suit til I did the DynaBead trick and that stopped it. Come June we are going to try a mod or two on the rear end and I will let you know what we do and how it works once it is done. I still hold to my original comments regarding IceBear 2009 models. I was a rider not a wrencher, no skills in that area, but thanks to my 150-8 I am going to mechanics school. And yes, I still have a love/hate relationship with The Beast.
