My speedo was working find. I took a hundred mile ride yesterday, and just before I got back home, my speedo is not working. It is digital, not mechanical. Any suggestions guys on where to start. I have checked the wires to the sensor and it appears ok.

Is the sensor triggered by a magnet that may have fallen off? john

Jc, where would the magnet be located, I think that may be the problem. I am not registering MPH, odo or trip meter.

The wheel sensor does not have a magnet attached outside of the sensor housing.
Double check the sensor plug and speedo pulg to make sure the pins are not pushed out. If that is good, then disconnect the sensor and connect a mutimeter to the sensor leads, rotate the tire. You should get a signal. If not it is a bad sensor, if you do it is a bad speedo. Mostlikely it is a bad sensor.

Thanks Jim,,,was wondering if there was a way to check that sensor. My problem was from bad roads, really hit some bumps at hig speeds and felt the shock and sure enough that is when I seen the speedo jumping numbers.
