did some mods all performance new DC CDI new 5G SLIDERS new titanum plug new number 88 jet new air filter new scrappy chrome exhaust i get 55mph on factory speedo if i move up to a number 95 jet will i get even more top and bottom end runs good but i bought a number 95 in case 88 did not work can i go to 95 helping it or will it flood the engine if i get more speed by changing it i will if not i dont want to have to go back to 88 any for sure answers i dont care about mileage at all please help eric in tawas mi

You should first determine if your factory speedo is close to accurate using a GPS or have someone follow you in a car. If you're actually getting 55 MPH out of a 50cc I wouldn't touch a thing. Rich

if you read my mods can i go with a number 95 main jet and a 88 idle jet for hard starting will this work ok and not flood my motor please help asap iam tring this tomrrow please help run good but a little hard to start eric

If you did not install a BIG BOR KIT those jets are to big you will flood the crap out of it. Even with a BBK a 50 will run the best with a Main jet in the 80s range usually a #88. And no a bigger main jet will NOT GIVE you more top end. And may I add your speedo is about 20% off so your real speed is AT LEAST 10mph less than what it says. Alleyoop

One other option if you have accesss to a shop press . One might change the rear wheel /trannys gearings for more topend . Otherwise you need a big bore kit to run that type of jet setup. By upjeting to a too large sized your just wasting your $$$ without the bigbore upgrade . Will C.
