Friend in Texas emailed a pic of his new turbo charged Mustang. I emailed him a pic of my new Sunny Snail... He says he expects me to get a turbo on it by the time I get used to these small engines. Laughing, I took a peak to see what's out there, and low and behold they are out there www.chinese-parts-canada.com/turbocharger_fuel_injection.html

Yep,Chinese version about 400 bucks. Japanese version about a grand. Now I got e.f.i., next is gonna be a stroker crank then turbo. I'm gonna get this trike to do power wheelies one way or another. ;D

I haven't read any of the details on EFI conversions - have people noticed better mileage, performance or reliability?

E.F.I. is a little on the expensive side but well worth it. It will take a long time to recoup your money back by saving at the pump. Last I calculated I was getting around 105mpg. It's got more pep and throttle response is crisper. Tuning is easy as you use software. So far reliability has been good. The only problem is It puts a strain on the charging system. If you start a lot and do short trips the battery tends to die.

Harley guys at work telling me to save my money and install a hair dryer instead Tell the harley guy you save so much at the pump you can afford the hair dryer now and which one does he use? Been a Harley guy have a lot of T shirts and never ever got above 44 Mpg. I dont ride harletss anymore cause I know when someone is talking about 13 incher they are talking a tire size. Bet your harlet guy had to change his seat cause harlet stock seats suck. China seats are like the pink bunny take a likin and keep on. ROFl Ill finish up with this " Harley Davidson, made of tin ride em out and push em in". or did you ever notice old gas stations always had a wrecker? Thats to pick harlets up when the rider is too drunk to put the kick stand down.I can give you more harlet ammo if he persists. Ive heard em all ;D
