Does the charger have a switch to switch between different settings? If so try moving it to a different setting and then back to the trickle setting also if it has an off and on switch do the same. Alley

No on and off switch. Plugging in is the on, unplugging is the off for this one No other switches either. When it hits full charge its supposed to stop the charging on its own. Also it says if the yellow light is flashing to check the battery like something may be wrong with it and I didnt see it flash.

2 yr warentee on the charger, one year on the battery. the charger would cost less to mail out for replacement.

Well seeing that it was on for such a long time I think the Charger went further South than you are at. Alley

If you still have the old battery Try it on that one, while you get yourself a cup of Java and watch some tv. Alley

Nope I tossed the old battery. It wouldnt hold a charge longer than ONE starting try with the scooter. If I cant get the scooter started tomorrow I'm going to have to figure out how to get to Autozone with a translator and bring the battery AND the charger I got from there to test the battery and TRY to exchange the charger. After 3.5 mo since the charger purchase I may have to ship it to the place that makes the charger though. I can try though.

Ok, how about this do you have a VOLT METER, if so you can test the battery while it is in the scoot and see what it shows for VOLTS. All you do is touch the BLACK connector to the NEG terminal the the RED connector to the POS terminal. Just switch the Volt meter to DC they come with instructions. Alley

I have the same one but its black. What hole do I put the black plug in and what hole do I put the red plug in? and where do I turn the dial to? Thank God it seems to come with batteries since it appears I need a tiny phillips screw driver to open it ( that I dont have ) and the instructions are in chinese ( literally, just symbols) LOL

The Blacl wire goes on the bottom and the red in the next hole. And leave it where it is pointing at 200V. Try that it should give a reading like 11.? 12.? etc,, alley

Great! at least that will help to see if the battery is KAPOUT or has some juice and it is most likely the charger that went south which I think it is. Alley Talk tomorrow crossing my fingers AGAIN(HEHE).
