Howdy everyone, it's me again. Not sure if this really merits a new thread, but I hope you'll forgive me if you feel strongly that it does not. Original thread is here: scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=150cc&thread=5141Equipped with a cavalcade of tools and a bevy of youtube tutorial videos, I set about to adjust the valves on my scooter. It was frustrating until I was able to actually remove the flimsy plastic shell exposing the valves, then things went much more smoothly. In the end, however, the noise persists. I even checked the fan on the right side to see if anything had infiltrated it's plastic barriers; there was nothing. To assist in this diagnosis, I've constructed a crudely edited video using my iPhone. The video can be found here: The scooter actually sputters when I let off the gas, which is really worrying me. I have been really impressed with this community and I'm extremely grateful for all the help you've provided me thus far; hopefully I can get this figured out.

I agree with John sounds like your CVT.
The idle is very fast also... the back wheel shouldn't be spinning like that, need to turn down the throttle screw

Re-position the kickstarter gears...and make certain there is plenty of torsion on the spring... someone probably put the thing back wrong... Attachments:
