they are my favorite for sure I would like to have one or even copy one, weld up a frame and roll the sheet metal.

Salsbury scooters were among the first American motorized two-wheelers and remain relatively rare. In addition to producing the first automatic scooter with a Continuously Variable Transmission, Salsbury developed attractive designs with aerodynamic nosecones, all assembled by the Northrop Aircraft company.

That's cool I did not know that they had a CVT. I guess that would have been real high tech back then. I guess they must be reliable to still be used today. Thanks for the history.
