When you say you have no spark did you actually take the spark plug or spare one and Tried Grounding it to the Frame and or Motor while cranking?
Or are you saying the motor turns over but does not want to start or even attempt to fire? Alleyoop

Good point Alley, there's a big difference. The Q-link Legacy is the same as the CF Moto motorcycles which use the same engine as the 250 scooters. Go to the manuals section in the Library and you'll find some good tech references for the 244cc verticle engine. Rich

The wire to the coil runs back to the CDI. Since you have a new CDI I doubt that is the problem. However, you may not be getting the right stuff to the CDI to make it operate correctly. First, check the power supply to the CDI. You should have a black wire running into the two wire connector on the CDI. Unplug the harness from the CDI and check the voltage on the black wire with the key on and tell me what you get. Rich

i guess you might need a little more info on whats going on when you attampt to start it...does it crank,....or is it completely dead when you turn on the key and attempt to fire up.....with only 30 odd miles on it ,the plug.... should be good.....check the ignition coil wire and ground as well...make sure its properly seated....yes it could be cdi/pick up coil related...or a bad stator....or a weak vrs no spark....
for me the key to a differential diagnosis here....involves recognizing that this is practially a brand new scooter....parts do go but i would think....you would need a little more milage first....and may need to pdi....again...so checking connectors ,loose/broken wires , grounds and taking readings as suggested.....is a good starting point.. and of course i am assuming the battery is good...i say this only because the stock batterys on these 250s are crap....and of course the kill switch is off......
