More like some of the Japanese stuff, wet stator and since the coils are coated it doesn't short. Just like the oil filled transformers on poles outside your house. Still waiting on my replacement stator. IB forgot to ship it. We are going on vacation thursday so I won't be able to do the install until the 30th. Hope it's in by then. Bah Humbug
