Now I am not real happy!!!! All this board vrs board crap is getting ridiculous!!!! It is one thing the have issues with a person or two but, to make a shotgun blast statement is just Bull!!!! Here is what I am talking about. COMPETITORS you kidding me, Now yes because all the REAL knowledgeable people are gone from here and over on the two other forums. What am I chopped liver??? How dare you make such a statement? I am still here and still a member of the other two boards. Maybe I should reconsider my membership on the other two boards. Jim/Owner Rapid Repair

RapidJim, I agree with you 100%. I myself don't have too much time in the day. That is one huge reason I kinda stop coming to these forums. I mean, there are a lot of bright individuals on all these forums, with some good scooter knowledge. But man the kinda of stuff that goes on... it's just getting crazy. Many come on the forum/s to gossip, and humiliate other forum members and or dealers. It just gets to a point that I don't have time for that crap. I am just to busy. There are times that you start a good interesting tread, and along comes an idiot who doesn't know a dam thing about scooters and or starts contradicting your tread.. I mean we got smart guys like ScrappyDog, Absolutely, KidNmeParts, MonsterGY6, you as well RapidJim and a few other guys ValleyScooter who actually know there stuff and can keep up a good tread going. It would be awesome if we can keep a good tread going without having to read somebody saying that they read some dirt about scootertronics in some other forum (ScootDawg). Man... I have been online since they were punching holes on computer cards. Back in those days I was selling bandwidth to these website gurus for a British company called Cable & Wireless. Been on the internet to long to waste my day chatting mumble jumble with the kids. Gotta business to grow, and a family to feed. No time for this gossip. Like I said, that's why many of you don't see much of me on this forum or any other for that matter. Just too busy. I say... it does not matter if you are on this forum every hour, everyday, once a week, or once a month. As long as we can get good treads, constructive treads, and respectful members, then I will be on this forum for a long while. None of us need to hear the he said, she said, I got better stuff then you, my price is better negative stuff we hear in other forums. We don't need to contaminate our forum with this negativity. And we don't need to send PM gossip as well. Remember that this forum will continue to grow, and there will be many who will come from other forums with bad habits they've picked up. All is welcomed. But what is not welcomed are the bad habits, the negativity. I say, please leave it behide you. And share the knowledge you have in building scooters engines with the members of this forum. Lets continue to bring good ideas, positive treads, and awesome knowledge to share with each other, so this forum can continue to grow. It does not matter if your a scooter newbie, or a scooter guru. What matter is that we are all here to learn from each other. We are not different, we are all scooter riders and we should not let anyone come from another forum (with bad habits) to talk or downgrade any of our members in any form or fashion. Or fill our forum with negative comments they have read from some other place. Everyone here deserves there space and respect. To respect me is to publicly and privately welcome me on this forum, To respect me is to read attentively as I post on your tread, To respect me is to help me to learn about my scooter, To respect me is to stand by me as I am learning to be free.Thank you RapidJim Attachments:

Sucks that we all can't get along. Still, some folks simply won't allow for it when others would be just fine, so what can ya do? I try to have a thick skin, personally. Sometimes people are inexplicably mean-spirited, others may just be having a bad day/week/month/life and not be able to otherwise help it at the moment. That being said, trolls *do* have an uncanny way of finding people's rage button! I've got love for all my docs, dawgs, and university types too. Though I'm not a member, I will cheerfully admit to more than a few hours reading rebel sagas as well. I have been on both the giving and receiving ends of help on all mentioned, and am basically just grateful to have likeminded individuals to discuss things with.

Alley, It was not just me he slammed with his shotgun blast. I just was the one that took it personal. Hi Jim, no you were not the only one that took that personal. It was a shotgun blast aimed anyone that offers help.. I don't own a scooter shop, I don't have much knowledge of 2t, or 150s or actually anything beyond the 139, but I do try to help when i can.. And that was a totally unwarrented blast.. No you weren't the only one that took it personal.. It is very nice seeing every one here, most of the ones here are the reason I joined scootdawg..

Well said scooterchromeparts! I usually have thick skin also or just don't post. I have to admit that one got me. Jim I got another one for you Jim: Jim your the man... it's good to see someone step up to the plate and make a realistic observation of what really goes on on these forums. A week ago, I tried to make a point to Rich, as to what need is there to have one vendor disrespect another vendor on the forum. There is no need for such. I strongly believe if you as a vendor start a tread in the Vendor Section of this forum or any other forum for that matter to promote a product you sell. There is no need for another vendor to go into your vendors tread, trying to disrespect you or your product by telling other forum members that your product is to expensive or cheaper, or that he buys at the same price as you do. Or even disrespect you by sending PM's to forum members gossiping about you and your product. Jim, it's the same vendor who I had this similar situation a weeks ago (a new vendor that popped out of know where), making these rude comments. It got little nasty Jim. I did not want it that way, but it did. This vendor who acted as a maud, out of pure ignorance made negative comments on this forum, which left a sour taste in the group. I addressed this member, he then later asked for an apology. Cool I said, lets put it under the bridge. [Jim, you have been around for some time, and know that this scooter industry is big, but at the same time it's small. Everyone knows each other in the industry. At least the ones that have been around for a while]. I am always on the internet Jim. And today, the same vendor (recent member) who made does negative trashy comments on this forum just last week; and who apologized to me in public on this forum. Has been making these same trashy negative comments on ScootDawg since September last year 2011. He just totally poured out the negativity. This forum member is definitely on a mission to really disrespect the people who actually started this scooter industry with his trashy remarks. I don't want to mention his name (he is one of our recent forum members). This is a comment made by the same person again on ScootDawg, which I found searching on google. I have not logged into Scoot Dawg for over a year. Simply because I got tired of all the crap (stupidity) that goes on in that forum. This is the reason why I came to ScooterDoc. Rich on the other hand made possitive comments about me on the ScootDawg tread posted by our recent forum member. But I want Rich and you Jim (and our members) to see what kind of person (or forum member) he is. He apoloized to me in public on this forum last week, but has been making these remarks for quite some time now. Jim, these are the kind of ignorant forum members that we are talking about. The same ignorant forum members that jump from one forum to another, gossiping, disrespecting each other, ruining all the hard work we've done over the years. Although this forum member has directed his negativity towards me publically. It goes to show all of us, what kind of a person he is. But wait Jim, we have yet to see what negative remarks he has made about our other vendors who post there banner on this forum, who also sell engine products as well (who's prices are a bit higher than what he is selling). Ask your this question Jim, is he making the same negative remarks by Personal Message (PM) about our other vendors on this forum, making price comparison to our forum members and doing the same in other forums? That we don't know yet. But time will tell, when someone steps up to the plate and lets everyone know the trash he's been talking about our forum vendors thru Personal Messages, who also post there banners and sell parts. Jim/Rich, you can search thru the entire internet. And in almost 7 years of being online. This is the only maud who has ever said anything negative just to draw business to his site. I ask the vendors of this forum, is this guy doing the same with you by PM, just to make peanuts for profit. I want you to see this tread for yourself: scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=talk&thread=43462&page=1#421174

I know I'm not one to talk but it seems most scooter forums are laced with venom. What gets to me are the people who own high priced scooters making snide comments about Chinese scooters. It might be nice to remember that people buy what they can afford. People come to scooter forums for answers to problems so they can fix their cheap rides without resorting to $80/hr. shop rates, if they can even find a shop. I've seen rows of big four bikes in repair bays waiting for service. Everything breaks or needs service sooner or later. Your SYM, Kymco, Honda, Vespa, Yamaha will need work no matter how much you paid for it. Also keep in mind how ridiculously cheap used bikes are. Someone who doesn't mind gears can find a bike that can run with a T-Max for around $1000 on Craigslist. I'm glad there are people who can afford $5500 Kymco 300 GTs and $7000 Vespa 300s but I could fill my garage with bikes and Chinese scooters between 50 and 250cc for that kind of money.
Oh, and if we're talking about people constantly slamming the other guy, let's not leave out Terra Nuvo, aka Earthman. It must be nice to be so perfect. I, at least, admit I'm a PIA.
