Hello fellow docs. Just wanted to share my good experience with you all. A couple of days ago, I found myself itching to do a significant mod to my scoot. I already had the high flow exhaust but not the rest of the high air flow setup. upon inspecting my stock air element, I discovered that it was cracked. I searched for a few days to no avail. Nobody sells the style of air element that i needed. Later on that week, I found myself looking at John's ( tvnacman ) online storefront. I then realized that I just stumbled into my remedy for my broken stock air filter, and my modding needs. I was only going to get an after market air filter for my scoot, but after seeing his AWESOME prices ( sorry for typing so loud ) I had to buy more! I ordered a racing CDI, a racing coil, and the air filter. Not even 5 hours after my pay pal cleared, he had a tracking number for me, and on top of that, the order came in 3 days! If your looking for exceptional ( tested ) parts for your scoot and dont want to pay what most other people charge, then I would personally recommend john's storefront, he will take care of you heres a link to check his visual store front. just shoot him a PM for the rest.

I just updated my post on the other thread -- I think I've got it -- I was riding home tonight, and it occurred to me - what if the lights are stuck in the "brake" position instead of the brake lights not lighting?? Simple test - see if it will start without depressing the brake lever. It did. This was also a cheapo brake switch from ebay that I put in just a few months ago, so that shouldn't surprise me either. I'll have to replace the switch to see, but I think it makes sense.

so what do you think the bulbs burned out because they were on too long ?

yes john i installed the parts within a few hours after i got home from work. SORRY GUYS!!! was going to take pics but it was getting dark when i started putting the parts on. OH MAN does she run better. it ran perfect before but with the new stuff you can feel the beast coming out. before the cdi, coil, air filter, exhaust mods, she would struggle to get to 60 on flats with no wind. today was windy, and she zipped up to about 60-63 with no folly. went on a ride with my woman on the back and it was cruising about 55 @ 7000rpm. i want to put a heavier roller weight combo on my variator amd get a 1500 main spring to hopefully get her to hit 65 @ 7500rpm. the other day before my old muffler burnt up, a cold front was blowing in with high winds, they pushed me to 70mph! dont know how this stock scoot hits those speeds but its pretty cool. did you say you had roller weights john? if so what are their weights? i need to order something else because my regulator still wont work right, lights are dim lol. i will post pics of your parts installed under the 50cc-150cc section tomorrow john. thanks again!
