Wow, there sure are a lot of folks on this forum who have had bad experiences with boric acid. Please provide details! Stuck rings, blown engines, clogged oil passages, gunk buildup, etc.?

Acid... just the name alone tell you it is not something used for just anhything. I use good oils and only products in my machines. I will not put any knid of acid on my bike plastics or paint and will break some one arm if they try to put in my crankcase.

Boric acid or Boron works great for vaginal infections...perhaps these people have a problem??

VAGINALLY:
For vaginal infections: 600 mg of boric acid powder once or twice a day.
For prevention of recurring Candida (yeast) infections: 600 mg twice weekly.

If people want a boron additive in their oil simply buy Mobil1 0W40 Synthetic (221ppm) or Harley V-Twin (250-270ppm)

I agree with leaving it alone. No I'm not mad, and you don't have any reason to be sorry. I just notice some people here go off the deep end and argue non stop. They don't need any extra fuel for their fire. You only posted on this thread after being on the other thread titled now i know where everybody went to show that theacid discussion is going on here too there is no need to fan the flames.

Yeah you should have lol and thanks allot for starting the acid thing on this forum lol. Before this thread i had no idea about this boric acid riff between different forums and their arguments. In a modifying my scooter frenzy, i stumbled upon this thread. Not knowing anything about it, i googled it and that's when i learned that some people experiment with it and that it was a shot in the dark. But yeah thanks Dean lol.
