anyone know how hard it is to remove a water pump on MC-54B? Or this question.. do radiators actually get plugged up and not allow fluid to flow through. And as long as we're on the subject, just how does the cooling system function as a whole? Thank you to anyone answering.

The water pumps on a 54B is not hard at all. Just 4 bolts.
Yes the radiator can get plugged up, they are quite small.. Always use a good anti freeze and mix it 50% with water.
A common problem with these machines is the fan not working.

How old is your 54B and did you ever change the blue antifreeze which came with the scooter? If you are running with the blue stuff, you need to drain and flush your system several times, then use Prestone 50/50 mix once you know it is cleaned out.
