Hey class, I got this new trunk for Xmas and I think the wiring is strange.

Where you from ERS? You sound like you could have grown up down the block from me in Toledo. My Fashion has LEDs like that in the trunk and I believe they do the same thing as yours. It might be a DOT thing that they have to go off when the brake is on. Rich.

From Virginia. I realized the brake lights on the sides of the trunk are just that. There are no running lights in there. The outer most lights on the spoiler blink constantly. IDK why it goes off when the brakes are on?

Well how did it wire into the scooter? If you got it for Christmas you must have had to install it. Yeah, Virginia's getting up that way. I guess I'm used to this deep southern drawl now and anything past Huntsville sounds northern. Rich

I was messing around last night and saw something unexpected. When you hold the brake and leave the turn signal on, the trunk light and turn signal go offset. Weird right? Once you release the brake the are back to blinking the same.

I'll just leave it alone I guess.

i put extra turn signals on the side of my trunk
and then ran led red strip lights on the back also

i have been wanting to get pics in the dark
but i always forget

I have the same trunk add on and wired mine just for turn n the upper batsignals and the upper lights stay on all thge time going back and forth makes safer for night driving on the Reflex at night

The outer most lights on the spoiler blink constantly. The signal lights on the trunk are barely visible in daylight.
