Thanks The paint came out real nice. It has a very nice shine for not being clear coated. I was going to lacquer it but I couldn't get the paint mixed in the correct color so I used single stage acrylic urethane.

I really like that ,great job . How many cc's is it? 150cc and purrs like a kitten. It runs as good as my Stella. But it only has 8 inch wheels so you have to watch out for pot holes.

That's a beautiful scooter and great work Randy, you should be very proud. I'll leave this in General Discussion for a while so everybody gets a chance to be jealous and then move it to Pics & Vids for permanent display. Thanks for the great post, Rich

Thanks for the great post, Rich Thanks I appreceiate the compliment.I really didn't post it to make anyone jealous. It was just a project I had ben wanting to do several years and I ran a across this scoot and I thought why not? Truthfully it is really old school and will not make a very good daily rider. No turn signals and no mirriors from the factory is hard to believe. So the Stella will continue to be my daily rider and use the Allstate to putt around the neighbor hood. so far of all the scooters I have had this is my favorite and I should have kept it. good god almighty that is an awesome scoot. great find i would say. unless your trying to preserve your 64's originality, i would say adding some sleek old fashioned style mirrors and a nice set of strip LED turning signals so it can blend with the scoots style then you can have it street legal and take it on good rides. a walk around video would be awesome! great job randy.

I will do a set of mirriors for sure. The turn signals will not happen. These things are 6 volt and do not even have a battery. The charging system can barely keep up with the headlight and tailight. I knew what I was getting into when I started the project and will be happy just cruising it, and it looks cool setting in garage. I can't wait to do another one! thanks for all the compliments.
