Hey guys, I just changed my stock exhaust, air filter and main jet. Scooter starts up okay and runs okay until I hit 20-25 mph, then it starts to bog down. main jet is #125 .....I don't know much about scooters, but I believe it may be a simple adjustment to the a/f screw. I drilled it out and have access to it. The problem is I dont really know which way to turn it. I pretty sure its running to rich but if anyone got some advice it would sure be appreciated...........thanks in advance

You may have too high volume an air filter on there and getting too much air...yep, it happens. Try wrapping some duct tape around half of the air filter and see if it makes a difference. Also, pull your plug before you do that and tell us what it looks like. Rich

thanks for your quick response.....my plug is new, just changed it out last week so it still looks new......my air filter is fairly small. You dont think its an a/f adjustment issue?

I didn't realize I was over doin it......I purchase it off of ebay and told the seller what I intended to do with my bike and they recommended it.....I should have came here first......I will try and down size to #110.......until then, I'll just replace with the stock main jet(#107)
Also what is the correct way to handle the extra line that were on the stock air box?

Ebay monkeys again...;-)
The one line you MUST have open is the hose that runs from the valve cover. Just stick a cheap fuel filter on the eng and zip tie it to the frame up high under the seat...that way it will vent and not let dirt into the engine...
I check that filter about ever 3-4 oil changes, cause they can get oil in them and start to plug up...
If you can easily blow through the filter you are OK...
Most of the other hoses on the air box aren't necessary...

Some of those small filters have hardly any element in them and therefore are pretty much no restriction at all, size doesn't matter..ahem. That provides little vacuum for the CV carb and the needle won't lift, boom, it bogs. I'm not saying that's definitely it but I chased that very problem once and that's what it turned out to be. That jet is too big but maybe not all of your problem, just something to consider. Rich
