Damn! Well try the Kill switch wire on the CDI. Now some like mine I can put the kill switch on and hit the start button it will turn the motor over but no spark to the spark plug. On some with the kill switch on it will not even crank the motor over. Alleyoop

how can i post a pic of my scooter ? Click here to see how to post pictures. By the description of what's working I'm assuming you have the vertical engine? In any event, I agree with John that it's a ground issue. Most of the things you listed run off of the black wire. If it wasn't working all of those things would be out, not some of them. The fact that just some of them don't work indicates a ground issue with those components. You'll have to pull some plastic and get wires exposed to do testing. Rich

cashflow, scooters are only manmade, dont get intimidated by it. if you know how to add 1+1 then for sure you can fix your scooter..lol
remove all those plastics and you'll see the key or kill switch wires....good that those wires weren't snakes, otherwise it would've bitten you already...LOL,,,,you know im kidding...well hope you fix your scooter fast, spring is almost nearing end...

cash , sometimes strange problems take more trouble shooting . sometimes auto repair shops can't fix every problem , then you need to bring it to another shop . Just because you get a quick responce , does not mean it is on the right track . Several here have offered some good items to check it seems as your not making any ground . I not a fan of pushing work away , but it does happen . Cyberspace trouble shooting is very tricky , I don't know your scooter at all . I'm sure someone out there has worked on your scooter and knows it very well your best bet is to keep looking for other sources of trouble shooting help . Its not nice to direct someone to another forum , so I play nice . I have a Vespa if I have a problem with it I would be likley to look in a Vespa forum , there are quite a few , as there for the chinese .

I agree John, cybertroubleshooting is problematic but it takes some activity on both ends of the wire. The guy didn't take the time to answer Speedracer's query about what kind of engine he has or take *Lukes* advice about pulling the plastic. There's a link for posting pictures but we're still without images. These things aren't rocket science and they can be worked through with a little effort. You want to direct him to another forum? Fine, send him a PM, I'm sure he's been trolled already anyway. Rich
